A bittersweet experience for me at this festival. After the highs of a great first day, I awoke the next day to find that someone had cut their way into my tent and stolen all the money from my wallet (fortunately they left my bag which contained my camera). In the end I decided to head back home and miss the rest of the festival as it had been kind of ruined for me (and my tent was now exceptionally draughty!). This was the first (and so far only) time that I was affected by crime at a festival and after I got over it I soon started booking and going to other festivals, but with a few more precautions to avoid any repeats of the unfortunate event.
